Jorge Ontiveros (Plainfield, Ill./Oswego East) has committed to play men's soccer for the Rangers, starting with the fall 2010 season.
Ontiveros is a first-team all-state striker. He played in the All-State Senior Classic and was a three-time all-conference player.
"Jorge is a nicely skilled player whose biggest asset is his calmness in front of the net and his finishing capabilities," noted UW-Parkside head coach Rick Kilps. "Technically and tactically proficient, Jorge can read the game in the attacking third very well. He plays well in combination of those around him."
Ontiveros is a two-time team MVP who holds the Oswego East High School record for goals in a single season (26) and total points (62).
