Complete Results

Six Ranger wrestlers qualified for the NCAA II wrestling nationals in Houston, Texas. Rangers competing in March 13-14 event were Cody Zimmerman (125), Craig Becker (149), Luke Rynish (174), Corey VanGroll (165), Luke Haag (184) and Malcolm Briggs (197).

The Rangers were slotted in 12th place as a team at the national tournament. Becker and VanGroll had the top finishes for Parkside, each finishing fourth. Becker saw his undefeated streak snapped, but still pulled off All-American honors, as did VanGroll.

Also earning All-American honors was Briggs, who finished eighth. All-American honors go to the top eight in each weight class.

UW-Parkside now has a whopping 120 All-American awards in wrestling's program history.

Becker and VanGroll bowed in their respective match for third place, while Briggs dropped the seventh-place match.

Final statistics will appear in the "statistics" section of the wrestling webpage later...
