The Ranger women's basketball team earned a business-like 85-56 victory over Saint Joseph's College in the DeSimone Gymnasium Thursday evening. The win boosted the Rangers' record to 16-7 overall and a stellar 12-2 in the Eastern Division of the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
The rebuilding Pumas are now 0-23 overall and 0-14 in league play.
Brittany Beyer had 24 points for the Rangers. Amanda Gibson added 23 to the winning cause.
The Rangers shot 66 percent for the game. The home team won the battle underneath, out-rebounding the Pumas, 36-19.
The win marked the 12th consecutive win for the Rangers over Saint Joseph's.
