Mach to join Rangers

Coach Luke Reigel would like to announce the signing of Jordan Mach to the University of Wisconsin Parkside Men's Basketball Team. The 6'2” combo guard from Antigo, WI will join the Rangers in the fall of 2010. “Jordan is an outstanding addition to our program,” said head coach Luke Reigel. “Jordan plays the game the right way and has a huge desire to become a great college basketball player. He has a lot of similarities to the players that are in on our program.”

Mach averaged 21 points, 4 steals, and 3 assists a game last season in leading Coach Jesse Shaw's team to a 19-4 record and the Great Northern Conference championship. During his junior campaign he earned AP All-State Honorable Mention and All Conference honors. Mach was very successful on AAU Circuit playing for Coach Mike Schalow and the Wisconsin Blizzard.

“As a player he has the ability to come off screens and knock down shots so his natural position is more of an off-guard but he also handles the ball well so we can slide him over and play the point guard once in awhile, added Reigel.” “There's no question as a combo guard he is a great fit for our system and how we like to play." Mach currently holds a 3.5 gpa and will pursue a degree in Sports Management at Parkside. “More important than anything on the floor is the fact that he is an outstanding young man who will represent our program and UW-Parkside with a tremendous amount of class. We also know he will enjoy and excel in our Sports Management major. We are very excited about the addition of Jordan to our program," stated Reigel.
