The top 16 teams in the country converged on Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to take part in the National Wrestling Duals. All three divisions in the NCAA along with an NAIA competition took place in UNI Dome, on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa.

The Rangers went 1-2 in their duals, losing to the No. 6-ranked team in the country, Western State, 24-15, in the opening round. The tenth-ranked Rangers fell to Pittsburgh-Johnstown, 27-13, before defeating Carson-Newman, 37-9.

UW-Parkside finished in 13th place at the annual event. Nebraska-Omaha defeated Newberry, 23-19, in the championship dual.

A pair of Rangers won all three of their matches. Cody Zimmerman (125) and Craig Becker (149) pulled the hat trick. Zimmerman now has a record of 28-4, while Becker is a perfect 15-0.
