Nick Becker was named the wrestling graduate assistant coach in May of 2018.
Becker, a Parkside graduate and three-time National Champion for the Rangers, finished out his career with a perfect 89-0 record. Arguably one of the best wrestlers in NCAA Division II history, Becker was the 2016, 2017, and 2018 Regional Wrestler of the Year. He was the 2017 and 2018 NCAA Division II Wrestler of the Year voted by the NCAA II Wrestling Coaches Association. He was the 2018 NCAA II Most Outstanding Wrestler of the National Tournament, and was the 2018 Most Dominant for the 2017-2018 NCAA II season.
The Hartford, Wis., native won the WIAA State Wrestling Championship in 2012 at Hartford Union High School. He graduated from UW-Parkside with a degree in Criminal Justice, and is currently enrolled in the Sport Management Master's Program at Parkside.
