The Great Lakes Valley Conference released its weekly volleyball award winners on Monday, Oct. 28 with the University of Wisconson-Parkside's Kendyl Danelski securing Offensive Player of the Week accolades.

Danelski claims the honor for the first time in her career after landing on a spot on the All-Tournament team and helping the Rangers (14-9, 5-6 GLVC) finish 3-0 at the GLVC-GLIAC Crossover Tournament over the weekend in Aurora, Ill. UW-Parkside was the only GLVC squad to end the Crossover with an unblemished record as the two leagues split the 48 matches evenly over the two-day event.

The business management major finished the tournament with 24 kills (2.4 per set), 12 blocks (one solo, 11 assisted), six digs, two service aces and one assist while boasting an impressive .538 hitting percentage. Danelski tallied eight kills and three blocks in a 3-0 rout of University of Findlay on Friday while posting 13 kills on 17 attempts with zeros errors on Saturday in a 3-1 victory against Lake Superior State University. The middle blocker additionally finished with six blocks and two aces against the Lakers to close out the tournament.
