Andy Mazurczak earning the honor for the first time in his career.

The senior sport management major finished the week averaging 21.0 points per game, 7.0 assists per game, and 3.5 rebounds per game, helping the Rangers (3-0) steamroll a pair of opponents to remain undefeated on the young season.

Mazurczak had a night to remember last Tuesday against Silver Lake College, scoring 20 points in just 23 minutes of action to surpass the 1,000-point barrier while also moving up to fourth on the all-time career assists list in UW-Parkside's 103-53 blowout of the Lakers.

Four days later, the senior guard piled on 22 points on eight-for-11 shooting (72.7 percent) while dishing out eight assists in a 99-81 win over the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

For the week, Mazurczak shot 69.6 percent from the floor (16-for-23), including 80 percent from beyond the arc (four-for-five) and boasted an assist to turnover ratio of 4.7.

The Norridge, Illinois native and 2013 GLVC Freshman of the Year becomes the first Ranger to claim GLVC Player of the Week honors since
Zygimantas Riauka earned the distinction on Jan. 5, 2015.

UW-Parkside is back on the hardwood tonight, squaring off against Walsh University at 6 p.m.
